 PHENIXYA
Since August 2018, Thomson Broadcast joined the Groupe
Sipromad, managed as part of the Technology Business Unit
under the entity Phenixya.

For more than 60 years, the brand Thomson Broadcast has

forged extensive experience in the fields of Digital Terrestrial
Transmissions (DTV) and AM Radio, including DRM. At the ser-
vice of both public and private broadcasters, Thomson Broad-
cast is responsible for more than 50 active patents, some of

which have greatly influenced the current scope of the broad-
cast industry.

Thomson Broadcast has deployed more than 50,000 equip-

ments in more than 170 countries, actively participating in the

evolution of television and radio transmission. Through the
development of the Pulse Step Modulation (PSM) in Radio and
creating the automatic Digital Adaptive Pre-Correction (DAP),
Thomson Broadcast has largely contributed in shaping the
transmission market.

Latest technologies such as optical fiber links, silicon carbide

transistors and new power supply concept have been implemented
to offer the best long-term investment. Moreover, a simple push on/
off button allows easy switch from Analog to DRM mode for use of
Emergency Warning Functionalities (EWF).
