HOT WEATHER
On ground, hot weather conditions may cause overheating to be detected around the bleed
ducts in the wings, resulting in “AIR L (R) WING LEAK” warnings. Such warnings may be
avoided during transit by keeping slats in CONF 1, when OAT is above 30 °C.

In addition during hot weather season in order to ensure the maximum payload and to
reduce workload of engine and save engine life, extra fuel quantity will be reduced at the
minimum.

The flight crew should keep ON the external power unit to reduce the APU load, particularly in
hot weather conditions.

carried in the passenger cabin; the only exception is that a "seeing eye" dog may
