Learning Outcome

At the end of this session, the students will be able to:

b. Take client’s body measurement
c. Draft basic/block pattern
d. Manipulate pattern
e. Cut final pattern

A. Introduction

This unit covers the outcomes required in drafting and cutting basic/block patterns for casual apparel. It includes the requirements for planning
garments design, taking body measurements, drafting basic/block pattern and cutting pattern.
