Synopsis Today, it is widely acknowledged that violence against women is a serious global

human rights violation and a public health issue. It has significant effects on women's physical and

mental health, making it a significant risk factor for illness. The purpose of this dictionary is to

will discuss terminology and fundamental ideas used in this public health problem's research and

policy. Across the world, violence against women is a serious problem for both human rights and
