Course Overview

Introduction to Business English

Global and national business processes: the levels of business operations and activities that companies
engage in. Local business, national business, global business, international trade, etc

Business activities: Operating activities, investment activities, financing activities

Soft skills: Communication, active listening, conflict management, curiosity, flexibility, problem solving,
teamwork, time management, leadership, emotional intelligence

Linguistic skills: grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, cross cultural communication, reading


comprehension.

Course Objectives

Develop communication skills in a business context

Improve vocabulary and reading skills

Understand tone, style, and knowledge of communication methods

Enhance audience analysis, business case analysis, and basic business communication strategies
