ADMISSION INTO FULL TIME PH.D. PROGRAMME 2021-22
(UNDER AICTE DOCTORIAL FELLOWSHIP (ADF) SCHEME)

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY

Please read the instructions given below carefully before applying for Admission into
Ph.D. Programme under ADF Scheme 2021-22

1) Applications for admission into fulltime Ph.D programme are invited in the following
branches i.e.,
i) Chemical Engineering
ii) Civil Engineering
iii) Computer Science and Engineering
iv) Electrical and Electronics Engineering
v) Electronics and Communication Engineering
vi) Mechanical Engineering
2) For reservation, Govt. of India norms shall be followed
3) General/OBC Category candidates have to pay Rs.1500/- and SC/ST/PH Category
candidates have to pay Rs.1250/- towards Application Registration fee in the form of
Demand Draft in favor of “The Registrar, JNT University Anantapur”, payable at
SBI, JNTUEC Branch (Code No. 2723), Ananthapuramu.
Note: Application Registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
4) The filled application along with Demand Draft and photo copies of certificates must
be sent to the Director of Admissions, JNT University Anantapur,
Ananthapuramu through Speed Post/Courier to reach on or before 18.09.2021,
5.00 PM.
5) The List of photo copies of certificates to be enclosed with the application:
i. M.Tech./M.E. certificate
ii. Marks Memos/ Consolidate Marks Memo of M.Tech./M.E
iii. B.Tech./B.E. certificate
iv. Marks Memos/ Consolidated Marks Memo of B.Tech./B.E
v. Transfer Certificate
vi. Migration Certificate in case of other than JNTUA
vii. Integrated Caste Certificate
viii. Study Certificates of both UG and PG
ix. Valid GATE/NET score card
x. SSC certificate
6) Application received after last date notified will not be entertained and no further
correspondence will be made in this regard.
7) University will not be responsible for any delay at any stage. No correspondence /
queries will be entertained regarding delays, conduct and reasons for not being called.
8) The University reserves the right not to admit any candidate in any discipline if none
is found suitable / eligible.
 9) The University reserves the right to alter / insert any corrections / additions in the
advertisement / website etc. in the event of thing is observed.
10) The decision of the University in all matters will be final and binding. No
correspondence / interim enquiry will be entertained from the candidates in
connection with the process of selection.
11) No accommodation / travel allowance etc. will be provided by the University to the
candidates called for admission.
12) Candidates are advised to see the university website regularly for any future
updates/information etc.
Fee Structure: Tuition Fee: Rs 40,000 /- per Year; [Caution Deposit: Rs 500/- + Admission
Fee: Rs 200/- + Identity Card Fee: Rs 150/- at the time of Admission only].
Fee structure may vary from time to time as per the rules and regulations of
the University.
PLEASE NOTE:
(i) Candidates should note that their candidature is strictly provisional.
(ii) Candidates should fill the application clearly and legibly. Incomplete applications will
be summarily rejected.
(iii) Mode of payment of fee is through Demand Draft only. Fee submitted through any
other mode will not be accepted. Fee once paid will neither be adjusted for any
subsequent examination nor refunded under any circumstances.
(iv) Application submitted in any other format will be summarily rejected and no
correspondence, in this regard, will be entertained. Hence, the candidates are advised
in their own interest to apply early enough to ensure timely submission of their
applications on or before the closing date & time.
(v) The applicant must ensure their eligibility for Ph.D. Admission 2021-22 under AICTE
Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) Scheme in respect of qualifications and other requisite
criteria and then only apply.
(vi) No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for any matter.
(vii) Candidates should read Guidelines for the Award of Fellowship under ADF
Scheme 2021-22 carefully before applying for these programmes.
