The doxie will be about 10 cm in length.
The pattern uses the join as you go method
and does not need assembling later on. So
start with making all small parts. Do you
prefer to stitch it together?
Then make all parts separately.
LEGS (4 X)
Rnd 1: make a MR and work 8 sc into it (= 8).

Before proceeding with the body, make a

Crochet a chain of 11 ch in color 115.
Rnd 1: 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,

next stitch, continue working on the other
side of the chain, 9 sc. Fasten off. Stitch
the tongue in the plant head. Do this for
all heads.

BODY
Make a MR with color 110.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the MR (= 6).
Rnds 2 and 3: 6 sc. Fasten off.
WINGS (2 X)
Crochet a chain of 2 ch in color 110.
Rnd 1: make 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc in the 1st ch.
Fasten off. Stitch the wings to the body
of the fly. Stitch the fly onto the tongue of
the head in the middle. Make more flies if
you like.
LEAVES (9 X)
Crochet a chain of 16 – 21 – 26 ch in color 412.
Rnd 1: 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
1 sc in each ch until you have 1 stitch left,
work [1 sc, 3 ch, 1 sl st in the 1st ch, 1 sc] into
the last stitch. Continue on the other side
of the chain, 1 sc in each stitch. Fasten off.
Make 2 leaves of each size. Using color 212,
stitch 1 leave of each size to both sides of
the plant. Let them overlap a little.
POT DECORATIONS
Using color 518, work a row of sl st in the
remaining front loops of Rnds 10 and 28
of the pot. Fasten off.

The dolls are made using sc following the
amigurumi technique. Continue working
the rounds without fastening off: legs, body,
and head are made as 1 piece, the arms
are attached later. The height of one doll is
approximately 24 cm. The description is for all
4 dolls and the clothes they're wearing.
PICOT
Make *1 sc, 2 ch, 1 sl st in 1st ch, 1 sc in next
sc*. Rep from *to*.
LEGS (2 X)
Use the color for the skin tone. Make a MR.
Rnd 1: 9 sc in the MR, tighten the ring.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc (= 18).
Rnds 3-19: 18 sc. The leg is now approximately
6 cm high. Join with 1 sl st and cut the yarn,
leaving a long tail. Make a second leg in the
same way, but don’t fasten off. Make 3 ch
(= the crotch) and continue working along
the other leg. Make 18 sc, 3 ch and continue
along the 1st leg with 18 sc (= 42 sc). Work
24 Rnds in the round (= body) to a height of
8.5 cm. The total height is now about
14.5 cm. Close up the crotch with a few
stitches. Firmly stuff the head and the body.
NECK
Work sc2tog all around, you will now have
21 sc. Then make a Rnd of 2 sc in each sc
(= 42 sc).
HEAD
Continue with the head.
Rnd 1: 1 sc, 2 sc in the next stitch (= 63).
Rnds 2-16: 63 sc. Attach the eyes in the
center of the head between Rnds 9 and
10 with 8 sc in between. Embroider
eyelashes, eyebrows, nose and mouth.
Rnd 17: 1 sc, sc2tog (= 42 sc).
Rnds 18 and 19: 42 sc. Stuff the head.
Rnd 20: sc2tog, rep until the end of the
round (= 21).
Rnd 21: 21 sc. Firmly stuff the neck and head.
Rnd 22: 1 sc, sc2tog until the end of the
round (= 11). Weave the yarn through the
remaining sc, pull tight and fasten off.

FINISHING
Pin the hairs onto the head. Secure them
with small stitches, as in step 2. Roll up
the braids loosely onto the side of the
head . Add iron wire to arms and legs
as required. Lightly stuff the feet. If you use
iron wire, add this first. Cut the iron wire at
2 x the length of the legs + 2 cm. Twist them
together and wrap tape around the sharp
ends . Insert the wire into the body and
then secure the feet, toes pointing forward,

EGG POCKET
Rnd 2: using color 833 and the 3.5 mm cro-
chet hook, work 11 sc into the center of the
color 867 side. Make these sc by working
around the stitches right above the joining
round.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each stitch (= 22).
Rnds 3-12: 22 sc. Stitch on the sides,
working straight up from the 1st and
12th sc of Rnd 1, so that the pocket will
bulge out. Do the same on the other side.
You now have 2 egg pockets . Using
color 875 and the 4.5 mm crochet hook,
join the top edges with sc. Make a final
round of crab stitches with color 867.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
STRAP (2 X)
Crochet a chain of 200 ch with color 875,
using the 4.5 mm crochet hook. Join to
form a ring.

Fold the right side of color 867 outward.
Fold the straps in two and place them 11 cm
