netism for freshmen students in the American University in Cairo, AUC

Current Job Duties:


* Teaching assist in Physics department, AUC
1. Help lab supervisor and lab technicians in setting-up equipment for students "assemble and prepare
necessary" laboratory materials before scheduled laboratory.
2. Put away laboratory materials after completion of laboratory.
3. Assist in the upkeep of the laboratory and lab equipment, and the maintenance of necessary lab in-
ventory.
4. Assist with the preparations for Physics demonstrations, as appropriate.
5. Collecting student’s grades on daily basis.
6. Revising the grading of laboratory notebooks and recording students' scores.
7. "Careful, fair minded and objective when evaluating student work"
8. “Think on one’s feet” for answering students’ questions and trouble-shooting during lab.
9. Forming teamwork for laboratory development, refine lab manuals and the grading system.
10. Find new ideas for experiment enhancing + developing the lab manual and exp. Presentation
11. Raise concerns and provide feedback to the instructor regarding students’ performance.
12. Take attendance and keep records.
13. Participate in the final exam test bank and grading.
14. Any additional tasks set up by lab instructor or by the department chair.
