At the end of this activity, the students should be able to showcase skills in visual arts, specifically in poster-making, by creating an eye-opening and thought-
provoking artwork presenting the current and relevant concepts relating to global warming, the energy crisis, and environmental awareness as the central theme.
This activity specifically requires students to submit in pairs and as a class the following output regarding the specified topics:
Materials:
Instructions:
1. Pair up with one of your classmates for this activity and you will be recognized as one (1) group or one (1) PIXEL.
2. Cut a ¼ illustration board (in portrait position) in half. You will only be using one-half of it for this activity. This means that one ¼ illustration board is good
for two (2) pairs or two (2) PIXELS.
3. Procure all the other materials beforehand and conceptualize with your partner and the other pairs in your class.
4. Once all the materials are set, organize a brainstorming session with other PIXELS to gather input and collective decisions about the artifact as pairs and as a
class.
5. Proceed with poster-making after the brainstorming sessions. Make sure to update other PIXELS about the progress of the artifact of each pair for possible
changes or revisions.
6. Don’t forget that in this activity each pair will be graded in two ways: as a PIXEL and as part of the total unified artifact of the whole class.
7. Preserve the artifact until the day of evaluation. REMEMBER THAT YOUR WORK IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
