MODULE 1 Reading, Art, and Visual Art

Welcome to the exploration of the world of visual arts!

Our world is embellished with visuals. To improve them, we should look into or read their
visual elements. In this first module, you will appreciate the benefits of having the skills to read
not only textual symbols but also visual images. This module aims to enrich your knowledge and
appreciation of visual arts.

1. Determine what reading, art, and visual art are.
2. Apply the different compositions of visual art in analyzing and creating
artworks.
3. Analyze the functions of visual art pieces through both perspectives of the
artist and the audience.
