INTRODUCTION
Word processing is a technique of creating,
editing, saving and printing documents. An
application software used to perform these
tasks is called a word processor. Never confuse
with text editor, such as notepad, which only
allow us to create and edit plain text, while
using a word processor, we can format and
illustrate the text.

CREATING A DOCUMENT
Steps to create a new document:
• Click on office button  New
• Select Blank Document
• Click on Create button
or
Press ctrl + N
SAVING A DOCUMENT
Steps to Save a document:
• Click on office button  Save option
or
Click on Save button on Quick Access Toolbar
or
Press ctrl + S
• The save as dialog box appear
• Type desired name
• Click on save button.

Steps to close a document:
• Click on office button  Close option

Steps to open a document:


• Click on office button  Open option
or
Press ctrl +O
• Open dialog box will appear
• Select the required file
