Letter to the Buzz
Regarding the skate park
As a non-resident of Glasgow, I have used a lot of
the facilities that the city provides, as have our children.
Some of these facilities we have paid to use, others are
provicted free.
I’m not opposed to the proposed skate park, just
to the proposed site. I applaud the council for doing
more research into the proposed site. My question, and
I haven’t seen anywhere where other sites were looked
at, is, what about Hoyt Park?
Hoyt Park has everything: already there and
in one spot. You are getting a new state-of-the art
swimming pool, you have a nice picnic and play area,

in Class B girls cross country.
Phillips guided the Scotty girls to a second place
finish at the State Cross Country meet held in Kalispell.
