RE : EMPLOYEE’S LENTEN RECOLLECTION

Greetings of Peace!

Recollection, as understood in respect to the spiritual life, means attention to the presence of God in the
soul. It includes the withdrawal of the mind from external and earthly affairs in order to attend to God
and Divine things. It is the same as interior solitude in which the soul is alone with God.

The Divine Word College of Legazpi will be having its employee’s recollection on Holy Wednesday,
April 5, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Nativity Chapel, with the theme: “Come to me, all you
who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I
am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my
burden light.” - Mt. 11:28-30

In connection with this, we are encouraging all employees to attend the said recollection as we call to
mind the mercy of God and rest in his loving embrace during this Lenten Journey.
