1. Cut the bottle into strips using the plastic bottle cutter.

How to cut plastic bottles into strips: https://youtu.be/_R1fkYiSD8Q

Firstly, we must ensure that the bottle's profile is sufficiently flat. If it is very irregular,
pressure can be applied inside the bottle and heat can be applied to the sides to
smooth out the profile. To cut the bottle into strips, first cut the base of the bottle with
a cutter. Then, cut a piece of strip and pass it under the blade of the bottle cutter.
There are two settings: The lower one cuts the strips at 7mm and is for thicker bottles.
The upper slot cuts the strips at 11mm and is for thinner bottles. Finally, pull the bottle
strip with a constant strong force. If the profile is very irregular, you can use your other
hand to push the bottle downwards for assistance.
2. Collect the bottle strip on the spool.

This design is by Miroslav Batek. You can find the STL files at the following link:
https://www.printables.com/model/309053-pet-strip-spooler-and-spool-holder. I
recommend printing it at a scale of 160% on the Y and X axes and 110% on the Z axis,
as this way you will be able to collect strips from multiple bottles.
3. Plug the power supply.
4. Press the top button to start heating the heating block.

By default, it is set to 220 degrees. This parameter should not be changed. However, if
you want to change the set temperature value, you can do so using the encoder.
5. Insert the bottle strip through the sensor.
6. Make an entry to the plastic strip and insert it into the extruder.
This is a process that requires some practice. Be patient.
7. Pull the filament until you reach a piece of the approximate length shown in the
image.
8. Attach the plastic strip to the coil string as shown in the images.
9. Cut the surplus.
10. Move the motor to the left, away from the gear system, so it moves freely.
11. Move the coil counterclockwise until the string is tight.
12. Move the motor to the right to engage it with the gear system.
13. Press the button below to turn on the motor.

By default, it is set at 50% of its speed. This parameter should not b e changed.
However, if you want to change it, you can do so using the encoder.
14. Make sure that the first filament pass goes to the right of the string.

wait for the filament to wind up automatically.

15. Once the filament extrusion is complete and the alarm sounds, hold down the
button below (the motor button) until the strip finishes passing completely
through the extruder.
16. Disengage the motor again.
17. Pick up the filament.
