EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project proposal aims to outline a comprehensive plan for establishing a sugar
cane production project that prioritizes community involvement and financial
support for local pastors. The primary objectives are to create a sustainable and
profitable sugar cane cultivation operation, from planting to processing, which
generates income and contributes to the local community's economic development
and job creation. Additionally, a portion of the project's proceeds will be
dedicated to supporting local pastors and their ministries.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
1. To establish a sugar cane cultivation area of 40 hectares.
2. To create job opportunities for 100 local community members.
3. To support local Shechemites family pastors and their ministries financially.
4. To promote sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
5. To testify to the community the provision and faithfulness of God.

BACKGROUND
Sugar cane is a valuable cash crop with numerous applications. This project seeks
to leverage the region's favorable soil and climatic conditions for sugar cane
cultivation while ensuring the benefits are shared with the local community and
supporting local pastors and their important work.

SCOPE OF WORK
Phase 1: Preparation and Planting
1. Soil testing and analysis.
2. Land clearing and preparation.
3. Procurement and planting of sugar cane seeds.
4. Installation of irrigation systems.
5. Implementation of pest and disease control measures.

Phase 2: Cultivation and Maintenance


1. Regular monitoring of crop growth and health.
2. Maintenance of irrigation systems.
3. Fertilization and weed control.
4. Training and employment of local farm workers.

Phase 3: Harvesting and Processing


1. Harvesting of mature sugar cane.
2. Transportation to the processing facility.

MILLING COMPANY WILL DO THE FOLLOWING:


Sugar cane milling and extraction.
Production of sugar, ethanol, and by-products.
Quality control and packaging.

Phase 4: Marketing and Sales


1. Development of marketing strategies.
2. Identification of potential buyers and distribution channels.
3. Sales and revenue generation.

Phase 5: Supporting Local Pastors
1. Allocation of a portion of project proceeds to support local pastors and their
ministries.

PROJECT BUDGET
The estimated budget for the Community-Centric Sugar Cane Production Project is
approximately 22 million. This budget will cover land rental, land preparation,
planting, irrigation systems, labor costs, processing, transportation, materials, and
support for local pastors.

The estimated NET INCOME of the said project is 6 million / year.
