Modification of the LVAC switchboard in NCS2

The scope of work under this modification is as below:

1. 400V Emergency Switchgear:

The original scope is addition of 125A MCCB in the Emergency Switchboard (C002-SB-PSS02E01).
Electrical and mechanical interlock is also required between the existing Q01 MCCB and the newly added
125A MCCB.

The existing MCCB part number is 3VA1163-5EF32-0AA0. For electrical and mechanical interlock to be
provided, the 2 nos. 125A MCCB Incomer have to be fixed next to each other. Internal view of the cubicle
is shown below.

It is not possible to install 2 nos. 125A MCCB Incomers with electro-mechanical interlock in the space
available in the compartment since spare is not available for additional 125A MCCB. A possible solution
would be to keep the 2 nos. incomers in this section and move the other 2 nos. MCCB in the section above
if space is available.

However, this solution is not possible and the scope of adding a new 125A MCCB is cancelled.

2. LVAC Switchboard NCS2, busbar A1:

In Busbar A1, panel number NE01+N02 (2nd cubicle) there are 4 circuit breakers 4 pole. Part number of
breakers F16A, F17A & F18A is 3VA1112-5EF32-0AA0.

The original scope is to replace 3 of them (F16A, F17A & F18A) by 2 pole, and adding new 1 circuit
breaker 2 pole in same cubicle.

The external and internal view of the cubicle is shown below.

The revised scope is to remove all the 4 nos. 4P MCCB and install new 1 no. 3P MCCB and 5 nos. 2P
MCCB. The part number proposed are as below:

- 1 no. 3P MCCB is 3VA1112-5EF32-0AA0 circuit breaker 3VA1 IEC frame 160 breaking capacity
class M Icu=55kA @ 415V 3-pole, line protection TM240, ATAM, In=125A overload protection
Ir=88A...125A short-circuit protection Ii=5... 10 x In nut keeper kit + door drive mechanism is
3VA9157-0FK21 door mounted rotary operator standard IEC IP65 with door interlock accessory for:
3VA1 100/160
- 5 nos. 2P MCCB is 3VA1112-5ED22-0AA0 circuit breaker 3VA1 IEC frame 160 breaking capacity
class M Icu=55kA @ 415V 2-pole, line protection TM210, FTFM, In=125A overload protection
Ir=125A fixed short-circuit protection Ii=10 x In nut keeper kit. A door drive mechanism is not
possible for 2P MCCB.

The front door should be replaced with door drive mechanism for the 3 pole MCCB. There is no door drive
mechanism for the 2 pole MCCB.

3. LVAC Switchboard NCS2, busbar A1:

In Busbar A1, panel number NE01+N02 (3rd cubicle) there are 2 circuit breakers 4 pole (F19A, F20A), and
free space for future circuit breakers. Part number of existing circuit breakers are 3VA1112-5EF32-0AA0.

The original scope is to add new 3 circuit breakers 2 pole in the available space.

 The revised scope is to retain the existing 2 nos. 4P MCCB and install 1 no. 4P MCCB from second cubicle
with door mechanism. So, no new material is envisaged for the 3rd cubicle.

The front door should be replaced with door drive mechanism for the newly added 4 pole MCCB.

4. LVAC Switchboard NCS2, busbar B1:

In Busbar B1 NE01+N02 (2nd cubicle) there are 4 circuit breakers 4 pole. Part number of breakers F14B &
F15B is 3VA1125-5GI42-0AA0.

The original scope is to replace F14B & F15B with 2 pole MCCB.

The part number proposed is as below:

- 2 no. 2P MCCB type 3VA1125-5ED22-0AA0 circuit breaker 3VA1 IEC frame 160 breaking capacity
class M Icu=55kA @ 415V 2-pole, line protection TM210, FTFM, In=25A overload protection Ir=25A
fixed short-circuit protection Ii=12.8 x In nut keeper kit

The front door should be replaced since there is no door drive mechanism for the 2 pole MCCB.

The original scope is to replace 1 of them (F16B) by 2 pole and adding new 1 spare circuit breaker 2 pole
in the available space.

The revised scope is to replace 1 no. 4P MCCB (F16B) by 1 no. 2P MCCB and add 2 nos. 2P MCCB.

The part number proposed is as below:

- 3 nos. 2P MCCB type 3VA1125-5ED22-0AA0 circuit breaker 3VA1 IEC frame 160 breaking capacity

6. LVAC Switchboard NCS2, busbar A1 & B1:

The original scope in Busbar A and B, is to replace 2 circuit breakers F07A and F07B by RCD type with
considering the replacement of the cubical door.

Part number of existing MCCB is 3VA1163-5EF32-0AA0.

The space available looks tight in existing cubicle. We suggest to buy a new MCCB with accessories so
that if the existing cubicle size is small, the new MCCB + RCD unit can be installed in a larger empty
cubicle.
