On 04/02/2023, Abbott Pharma, Vanwall Business Park, Vanwall Road, Maidenhead SL6 4XE, is recalling Alimentum and
EleCare Infant Powder, K8, SH, or Z2. All products were manufactured by Abbott Pharma and distributed solely under
the manufacturer’s label.

Recall of the product was initiated following a change in their formulation which resulted in products in distribution
channels having the same brand name but different ingredients. The old formulation contained 2 Fl. Oz/59ml bottle and
there is concern that consumers may receive the old formula. Use of the old formulation by some consumers
represented about the bacterial infections in infants who had consumed products made at the facility.

The recall notice from Abbott Pharma requested the distributors and retailers like Puerto Rico, some products were sent
to Canada, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and certain countries in the Caribbean to discontinue selling
their existing stock of the old formulation and return existing inventories of the recalled formulations to Abbott Pharma.

In order to advise the FDA about the effectiveness of this Abbott Pharma recall, you are requested to complete and
return the enclosed questionnaire promptly using the prepaid self-addressed envelope.
