ABSTRACT

This research enables to observe and present ideas on the correlation between
students' linguistic skills and critical thinking skills. It deals on identifying the degree of
the correlation between variables and assess several intervening factors particularly
academic learning environments. Using survey questionnaire, the responses are
determined and interpreted using Pearson – r, Factor Analysis and Weighted Mean
Computation. Thus, the researchers analyzed a 0.71 level of correlation in a 0.05 level
of significance justifying a strong correlation on how communicative skills are important
in enhancing critical thinking and analysis on academic learning environments.
