Felcom 12 SSAS Kit

This kit contains three (3) software disks, they are used as follows:
1) Determine if you have an IB-581 (Monochrome Display) or
IB-582 (Color Display) and install the correct Terminal software, as noted below.

2) Install the CPU-2 software, noted below.

Felcom 12 Terminal Software Installation

1) Turn on the Communications Unit, Terminal and Printer.
2) Insert the floppy disk into the Terminal (IB581 or IB582) floppy drive.
3) After the program loads. Press FN, ALT and F2, then select "YES" at the prompt
to
Quit.
4) IB-581: Type B: then press ENTER.
IB-582: Type A: then press ENTER.
5) Type IBINST then ENTER to install the English software or
IBRINST then ENTER to install the Russian version.
6) When the program completes, remove the floppy disk and cycle power for the
display and communications unit. This should complete the Terminal software
install.

Felcom 12-CPU 2 Software Installation

1) Turn on the Terminal and Printer. Do not turn on the Communications Unit at
this time.
2) Insert the floppy disk into the Terminal (IB581 or IB582) floppy drive.
3) After the program loads. Press FN, ALT and F2, then select "YES" at the prompt
to
Quit.
4) IB-581: Type B: then press ENTER.
IB-582: Type A: then press ENTER.
5) Type UPF12 then ENTER.
6) When prompted if you want to install the software, type Y.
The display will show "Please turn on the TARGET."
Turn on the Communications unit and the software will now load.
7) When the program completes, remove the floppy disk and cycle power for the
display and communications unit. This should complete the CPU 2 software install.
