CALUM JOHN STOKES

We have great pleasure in bearing testimony to the character of Calum Stokes who enrolled at St Andrew's College in 2017
and has been a devoted member of Mullins house as a boarder ever since He is presently writing the Independent
Examinations Board examinations in the following subjects:

. Life Orientation

Calum is a passionate and hard-working gentleman. He is creative, and his expression was captured in design when he won
the design prize for two years. He works well in team-based activities and follbws through on his individual tasks. He has a
healthy perspective'and relates well to people. He is strong on his values, and he has cultivated good foundations upon which
he can express his skills.

He achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, won the Design Grade Prize, and achieved Gold in The South African
National Geography Olympiad. He represented all junior A team sports at rugby, water polo, golf, swimming, and squash.

He was on Student Exchange to Jordan, Middle East (Kings Academy). He was a member of the Entrepreneurship Club, the
Leadership and Communication Skills Club and the Future Focussed Skills club

Calum has maintained sound performances in the academic realm and should be well-placed to achieve his ooals. He is a
giver. He has served College and our community selflessly.

Calum embodies what servant leadership is about. He never seeks the reward as he just gets on with what needs to be done.
However, he interrogates leadership roles, and this level of critical thinking has influenced our growth. He carried out his
Prefect responsibilities with excellence and earned a Merit Certificate in Leadership.

In the House, he was vigilant when it came to house duties, and he dealt with the boys with dignity and respect. He is
dependable and thorough. He is respected by his peers and younger grades, not only in the House, but also in the myriad of
other spheres that he is involved in.

It has been a rewarding experience working alongside Calum as a prefect in Mullins house. He is a great example of a
successful grade 8 new boy's journey at College. He has been deliberate in his personal groMh and self-awareness. He is
driven to achieve his goals, and this resulted in him finding where he best fits into the Mullins team and fulfilling his role
authentically with discipline.

He has served College well and we are grateful for his immense contribution. lt would be a pleasure to answer any further
