Preliminary Activity:
A, Review Reviewing previous lesson Answer the following questions by giving the body parts of
animal that live in water.

1. It is used by the fish for breathing. (Gills)

2. Shrimp and Lobster have _____for protection. (Exoskeleton)

3. Fish have ______ for swimming. (Fins)

4. What protects the clams and oysters from their enemies?(Shell)

5. Fish are covered with scales for_______ from diseases and from other animals. (Protection)

B.Motivation :
Motivation Game: Minute to Win it Give the group one minute to arrange the jumbled parts
to form the animal. The group who can perform the animal in one minute will be declared as
the winner.

Ask: What a re these animals? Where can we find them?

Why can they live on land?

How do you think these animals survive on land?

C. Presentation:
 Let the pupils watch a video clip about animals having different body structures that
make them adapt on land
D. Discussion:
 Show to the class the pictures of animals that lives on land and their body structures .
 Explain to them that animals have different body structures which make them adapt
to the habitat where they belong.
E. Application:
Group work: Divide the class into 4 groups. Have the pupils arrange the Puzzle and make
them paste in the board and let them identify the body structure which make them adapt on
land .
F. Generalization:
Animals have different body structures that make them adapt to land.

G. Evaluation:

Direction: Tell in which habitat the animals with the following parts live. Write W for water
and L for land.
H. Assignment:

Tell the pupils to write short paragraph about their pets. Ask them to describe what food they give
them and why?
