PURE RUBBER COMPOSITIONS.
The comparison between pure rubber tires and recycled rubber tires involves various factors related to
performance, environmental impact, and cost.

1. Composition:
Pure Rubber Tires:
Made from natural rubber obtained from the latex of rubber trees.
Additional components may include curing agents, accelerators, and
antioxidants.
Uniform composition and properties consistent with natural rubber
characteristics.

Recycled Rubber Tires:

Made from reclaimed rubber, which is processed from used or scrap
tires.
May include a mix of rubber from various sources, leading to
variations in composition and properties.
2.Performance Characteristics:

Pure Rubber Tires:

Tend to exhibit excellent elasticity, resilience, and heat dissipation properties.
Performance may vary based on the specific formulation and quality of natural
rubber used.

Recycled Rubber Tires:

May have different performance characteristics compared to pure rubber tires.
Some recycled rubber tires have reduced elasticity and heat resistance, depending
on the processing methods and the extent of material degradation during recycling.
3.Durability:
Pure Rubber Tires:
Generally exhibit good durability, especially in terms
of wear resistance.
Longevity is influenced by the quality of natural
rubber and the specific tire design.

Recycled Rubber Tires:

Durability can vary depending on the quality of the
recycling process and the ratio of recycled material in
the tire.
Some recycled rubber tires may have slightly reduced
durability compared to their pure rubber
counterparts.
4.Cost:
Pure Rubber Tires:
Cost can vary depending on factors such as the
quality of natural rubber, manufacturing processes,
and market conditions.
Natural rubber's inherent properties where elasticity
and resilience are crucial for some applications which
make it more cost-effective.

Recycled Rubber Tires:

In some cases, recycled rubber tires can be more
cost-effective due to the use of reclaimed materials.
Pricing may be influenced by the efficiency of the
recycling process and the availability of recycled
rubber.
TYPES OF TYRES
Standardised usage
(ISO - ETRTO - TRA - JATMA
The four main categories of earthmover tyres
are defined by their usage. The category to
which it belongs is indicated on the sidewall of
the tyre. This is an international classification:

C Compactor E Earthmover

G Grader L Loader / Dozers

TREAD DEPTH AND TREAD DESIGN.
There are 4 earthmover tyre families
characterised by their different tread depths (or
tread height) and which are chosen as a
function of their use and the surface conditions.
PLY RATINGS
This is a measurement of the strength of the
Radial Casing Ply vs. Bias Ply Tyres.
SPEED SYMBOL.
Examples: 23.5R25 MA02 TL 185B: This tyre is able
to carry 9.250 kg at a maximum speed of 50
km/h (20.390 lb at 30mph).
LOAD INDEX (LI) AND
MAXIMUM LOAD (KG)

The OTR Tyre load speed index lets you

know the load-carrying capacity of the
tyre. In other words, it’s the amount of
weight your tyre can support safely.
