SWORN STATEMENT

I, Pedro A. Cruz, a 20-year-old student residing at Boalan, Zamboanga City,

after being duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state that:

1. I am a witness in the murder case of John Mark Delacruz Cairin, who was
killed on November 1, 2023, around 2:40 pm at Western Mindanao State
University.
2. I do not know the victim personally, nor do I have any relation or connection
with him.
3. On the date and time of the incident, I was traversing the hallway of
Western Mindanao State University.
4. I heard a gunshot, and upon investigation, observed an individual,
approximately 6 feet tall, wearing dark clothing, firing a gun at John Mark
Delacruz Cairin.
5. I immediately called the local police and the university security personnel to
report the incident.
6. I am willing to testify in court and cooperate with the authorities in the
investigation of this case.
7. I execute this sworn statement to attest to the truth of the foregoing facts
and for whatever legal purpose it may serve.
