COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
Earn the PTA Money While You Shop!!
You can make money for the Evergreen Elementary School PTA every time you shop at either Food Lion or Kroger simply by registering your reward cards. You can make even more money for the EEPTA by participating in the Box Tops for Education program. Even if you don't collect the boxtops, simply put your Food Lion and/or Kroger reward card numbers on the bottom of the Box Top Sheet and return it by October 17th and we will register your cards so that EEPTA earns money when you are shopping at either of these fine stores. Did you know you could also participate in the MyCokeRewards program and donate your points to the EEPTA? You can either go online to donate your points or simply have them turned into your teacher. Our goal this year is 15,000 points. See you can help Evergreen while doing something you are already doing anyhow!! If you have any questions, please contact Ashley Kimsey or Melissa Newby at communitypartners@eepta.com

PTA Reflections Program

The PTA Reflections Program is designed to enhance a quality arts education by providing an opportunity for students to explore their artistic talents and receive positive recognition for their efforts. Students participate in the Reflections Program by submitting entries to their school's local PTA. In Virginia and nationally, the program has six arts areas - dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. There are four grade divisions - primary, intermediate, middle/junior, and senior. PTA's Reflections Program helps parents encourage the creativity and continuous self-discovery process of their children. Supporting the Reflections Program is one way you can support the arts in your home, your school and your community.
