INFLIGHT SPEECH

These are some of the safety and service PA announcement or 'Passenger Address
Announcement' of our local airlines in the Philippines. Try to practice your
speaking skills in preparation should you become a cabin crew in the near future.

BOARDING ANNOUNCEMENT

PHILIPPINE AIRLINES
“Magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat. buong puso po namin kayong
tinatanggap dito sa PR509 patungong Singapore, Mabuhay!
Ladies and gentlemen this is PR509 and we are now ready to depart for Singapore.
In command of this aircraft is Captain España with First Officer Boni. This is your
flight purser (your name) and the flying time is approximately 3 hours and 15
minutes and we shall be cruising in an altitude of 36,000 feet. A warm welcome to
our Mabuhay Milers on board.

CEBU PACIFIC
“A pleasant morning to Every Juan welcome aboard Cebu Pacific. This is your flight
5J564 we are all bound for Manila. Only guest for this flight should be on board. If
you have a different flight number or destination please call your cabin crew for
assistance. May we request all guests to please stow your hand baggage properly
under the seat infront of you or in the overhead stowage bins above you. In
addition please do not leave your baggage unattended. Thank you.”

patungong Maynila. Para sa aming panauhin mangyaring ilagay ng maayos ang
inyong kagamitan sa ilalim ng upuan sa harapan ninyo o sa overhead stowage
bins. Sa mga panauhing nakaupo sa exit rows basahin po lamang ang passengers
briefing card. Kung sa inyong palagay ay hindi ninyo magagampanan ang mga
panuntunan ng exit rows ipagbigay alam sa inyong Cabin Crew sa mga sandaling
ito.”

AIRLINE REVISED SPEECH DURING PANDEMIC

We care about your health & safety. To ensure that you enjoy a healthy, safe, and
clean environment, we are all required to wear our facemasks throughout the
flight. It may be loosened or taken down only for eating and drinking, or when
directed by your cabin crew.
Please refrain from transferring to any vacant seats in the cabin unless instructed
by your cabin crew. Use lavatories only in your section and observe proper
distancing between each person while queuing for the lavatories. We will also be
observing a modified service during your flight.
Please stow your baggage in the overhead bins or under the seats in front of you.
This is a non-smoking flight. Smoking, including electronic cigarettes is not allowed.
We observe industry-standard safety protocols in all phases of the flight. Our
aircraft is equipped with HEPA filters that eliminate bacteria and viruses with 99.9%
efficacy, in addition, disinfection of the cabin is carried out before and after every
flight.
If you are seated in an exit row, you are required by Civil Aviation Regulations to
read the Passenger Briefing Card also known as the Safety Card. If you need to be
clarified on this procedure, or otherwise wish to be reseated, please inform your
cabin crew now. Thank you for your cooperation.

CLOSING OF DOORS
“Attention ground staff, we shall be closing the doors. To all passengers please take
your seat now and fasten your seatbelt securely. We will now be showing you the
safety features of this aircraft, the B777. Please direct your attention to the screen
nearest you.”

TAKE OFF
“We shall now be dimming the cabin lights in preparation for take-off. Reading
lights are found on the service panel above you. Cabin Crew Take Off stations.”

AFTER TAKE OFF

For your safety and comfort, please keep your seatbelts fastened whenever seated.
This is a non-smoking flight. Smoking, charging and use of e-cigarettes are not
allowed. Tampering with the lavatory smoke detector is strictly prohibited.
Government regulations strictly prohibit opening and drinking of alcoholic
beverages, other than those served inflight.
For everyone’s protection, we encourage everyone to practice social distancing
whenever possible and avoid standing by in groups and long queues by the
lavatories.
May we remind all our passengers not to transfer to any vacant seats in the
aircraft. Please approach any of your cabin crew for any questions and assistance.

TURBULENCE
“Ladies and Gentlemen the Captain has switch on the fasten seatbelt sign. For your
safety please fasten your seatbelt securely. We shall momentarily discontinue the
service to comply with the lighted signs. Please avoid going to the lavatory at this
time.”

PRIOR TO LANDING
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have started our initial approach into (name of
destination). Please ensure that your large electronic devices and carry-on
baggage are stowed in the overhead bins or under the seat in front of you, your
seatbacks upright, tray tables stowed, window shades open and seatbelts
securely fastened.
We will be coming around to assist you as you prepare for our arrival. Please
refrain from removing any- thing from the aircraft. And ensure that your
cellphones are in airplane mode.
LANDING
PHILIPPINE AIRLINES
“Mabuhay! Philippine Airlines welcomes you to Manila. The time now for your
convenience is 16 minutes passed the hour of 11 (1116H) The ground temperature
is recorded at 30°C or 86°F. For your safety please remain seated until the aircraft
comes to a complete stop and the fasten seatbelt sign is switched off. On behalf of
Captain España and the rest of the crew, we thank you for flying Philippine Airlines.

gamit hanggang ang ating eroplano ay hindi pa ganap na nakahinto. Sa ngalan ng
