In summary, nowadays more than half of the world has access to the Internet, but this brings with it

many consequences such as cyberbullying, invasion of privacy and identity theft

Cyberbullying
Virtual communities, e-mails, social networks, blogs and mobile phones are ways
for young people to live together. In these ways, they expose themselves publicly,
make friends and share ideas.

Cyberbullying is bullying carried out through digital technologies. It can take place
on social media, messaging and gaming platforms and mobile phones. It is
repeated behavior intended to frighten, infuriate or embarrass those who are
victims.

Examples include:

- spreading lies or sharing embarrassing photos of someone on social media;

- send humiliating messages or threats through messaging platforms;

- impersonating someone else and sending mean messages to others on your

behalf.

Research reveals frightening data about attacks through the internet, where one
in ten young people has already suffered a cyber attack.

It is important to note that “cyberbullying” can have drastic consequences, such

as the death or suicide of someone.

This occurs in greater numbers among young people, who have great difficulties in
dealing with problems. Thus, they isolate themselves, go into depression and, in
some cases, need psychological support.Unfortunately, using the internet to
organize attacks on people's honor has been a very common practice. These
actions have wreaked great havoc on the victim's life.
