Legislative Activism, Climate and Justice Work, Activist, Long Island, NY and beyond 2020–present
● Represented the USA to speak out against climate injustice in the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (COP26),
featured by Johnson & Johnson and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health at the 2022 Climate Week NYC
in conjunction with the UN General Assembly, and invited to the 2022 White House/EPA Youth Town Hall on
Climate Crisis and Environmental Justice
● Met with Senator Charles Schumer to discuss AAPI hate crimes, climate change, equal pay, and representation of
women and minority group’s history in the US and New York State education curricula
● Nassau County Legislature:1) joined Legislator Joshua Lafazan in submitting a letter to the US District Court
calling for a federal investigation into Congressman George Santos; 2) proposed and drafted a successful bill to
memorialize Marie Colvin; 3) proposed and draft a bill to create a Nassau County Youth Poet Laureate Program
● Co-organized March For Our Lives (Long Island) and anti-hate rallies, spoke as a panelist in roundtables hosted
by elected officials combating hate and discrimination, gun violence, and challenges to women's reproductive
health rights, and hosted a Black History Month Celebration with the Pearse African American Museum

Girl Pride International, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Oyster Bay, NY 2018–present
● Led a girls empowerment 501c3 nonprofit with 350 members from 5 continents and collectively volunteered
15,000 hours, raised $70,500 and benefited 5,000 marginalized girls worldwide; instituted an Ambassadors
Scholarship Program, that provided full tuition scholarships and material assistance to 100+ impoverished
students, constructed the Girl Pride Samburu Classroom and maternity houses, spearheaded “Fighting Hunger for
Education” campaigns, and mitigated school dropout rate, child marriage, and food insecurity in Samburu, Kenya
● Recognized by the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from President Biden, President George H.W. Bush
Daily Point of Light Award, honored as a “Nassau County female trailblazer” by Executive Blakeman, invited to
speak at the Harvard Global Women’s Empowerment Expo, spotlighted at the UN Climate Change Conference
(COP26), and featured in a cover story by Cove Living magazine and 30 other international, national, and local

Long Island Laboring Against COVID–19, Founder and Executive Director, Oyster Bay, NY 2020–present
● Led a COVID-relief and anti-hate organization (now a division of Girl Pride International) with 150 members and
volunteers to raise $105,000 with a GoFundMe, and joined by 50 elected officials and community organizations,
to provide 300,000 PPE, 1,200 meals, 8,000 pounds of food, and $15,000 in funds to 100+ at risk communities,
focusing on POC areas in Long Island, NYC, New Orleans, Ethiopia, Honduras, and Kenya, impacting 65,000
frontline workers, seniors, veterans, and the homeless and disabled
● ThankYou & WeCare Initiative distributed 300+ multimedia artworks and dedication films to hospitals, nursing
homes, government offices, fire stations, museums, libraries, and on our website
● Winner of the New York State PTA Youth Humanitarian Award and selected as the keynote speaker in the NYS
PTA Youth Summit; recognized by the US Senate and the House of Representatives, and awarded the NYS
Senate Commendation Award and the Senate Youth Leadership Recognition Award; named Long Island Herald’s
2021 Person of the Year, and earned additional 40 organizational and 35 individual awards for leadership and
