Task 1

I. Activity Title: 4 Emojis in 1 Season


Directions: Guess the correct name of the 4 Seasons from the emojis related to these different
Seasons write it next to the the number.
II. Objectives of the Activity
 To enhance vocabulary related to season and weather conditions.
 To create simple sentence construction using the Simple Present, Simple Continuous,
and Simple Past tenses in English.
 To develop the observational skills of the students.
 To encourage students to express themselves in writing through a fun and interactive
activity.

III. Introduction
Imagine becoming a Sorcerer of Seasons and Wizards of the Weather, where your magical
powers involve predicting and describing the weather! In this enchanting activity, you will
embark on a daily journey to observe and write about the season and weather. Get ready to
cast your linguistic spells as you master the language of clouds, sun, rain, and more!

IV. Preparatory Activities


Before starting the journal, review a list of basic weather vocabulary. This include words like
sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, snowy, etc. Discuss the meanings and characteristics of each
term, encouraging students to practice their spellings.

Directions: Write a 5 sentences diary by using any of the provided Adjectives in the box. Don’t
forget to use the Simple Continuous and Simple Past Tense. Make it a little funny while writing
your diary.
