EVALUATION- II (2020 - 2021)
(VIRTUAL ASSESSMENT)
Dear Parents
Greetings!
Hope you and your family are safe!

With the paradigm shift in use of Internet in the grave times of Corona Pandemic the importance of
education remains consistent.
At Bosco Public School, students are equipped with a toolkit of concepts, skills and knowledge that
they can shape into endless possibilities and solutions. In the dynamic and shifting world, we strive
to awaken global consciousness in Boscons.
The shift from normal classroom teaching to the virtual platform is the New Normal. Assessments
are the recognition of the profound influence on the self-esteem of the students and has crucial
influence on their learning.
Hence, the school has planned an ‘Online Oral Evaluation-II’ for all the scholastic subjects which
would be conducted as per the following details:

A. Know-How for ‘Online Oral Evaluation-II’

• Which will be the online evaluation platform?

The online evaluation will be conducted through Zoom.

• How will the student join the Zoom meeting?

The student will join the Zoom meeting with the Log In credentials as per the
allotted timings given by the Class Teacher on official class WhatsApp group.

• How many questions will be asked in each subject?

The student will be asked objective type 4-5 questions in each subject.

• What is the required stationery on the day of evaluation?

The student should have a rough notebook/ a sheet of paper, pencil,
eraser and sharpener with them on the day of evaluation.

• Will evaluation be conducted in groups?

The teacher will enter the student in Zoom meeting on one-on-one basis. The
student will have to wait in the waiting room until their turn comes.

• Will there be any Revision Class before the Evaluation?

The regular classes will be suspended w.e.f December 16, 2020 (Wednesday). A
revision class will be scheduled a day prior to the evaluation. The details of the
Revision Class will be shared by the Class Teacher on the official class WhatsApp
group.

• What is the role of parent on the day of evaluation?

Parent must ensure the following:
❖ Student should join the meeting according to the given time slots ONLY.
❖ Upon entry in the meeting the student’s video shall be SWITCHED ON and
audio shall be UNMUTED.
❖ Refrain from helping your child and let him/her answer the questions to the
teacher independently.

C. Winter Break

Winter Break will be from December 28, 2020 to January 6, 2021. The regular online classes
will resume from January 7, 2021 (Thursday).
 D. Christmas Celebration

‘Christmas Fiesta- Santa Stompers’ is scheduled on December 23, 2020 and December 24,
2020 at 10:00 a.m. The details of the same will be shared by the Class Teacher on the official
class WhatsApp group.

We look forward to you playing a key role in guiding and preparing your ward as per online
classroom teaching and assignments for the upcoming evaluation. Please be assured that
the test will be very objective in nature so there is no need to be worried about.
