courses (1 – 6 months) on the lines of Finishing School concept to make them industry ready.

• To help school leavers (10th or 10 + 2), Girls and other disadvantaged group with
long term training program (1–3 years) on the lines of German/International Vocational Training System.

• A long-term program in Tool and Die Making has been launched with AICTE Approval at KGTTI
Kalaburagi
• KGTTI –Kalaburagi executed first commercial order for Aircraft Component to
Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) with the help of trainees
• ISO: 2015 certification for KGTTI Bengaluru, Kalaburagi and Hubballi
• Runner-up position in World Skill Competition-2015 (India) for KGTTI Bangalore trainees
in Automation.
• Hosted State and National level Skills Competitions (India Skills 2022) in Welding and
CNC at KGTTI Bangalore.
• Hosted the prestigious CII Work skills competition at KGTTI Bangalore
• Training orders from HAL & Indian Institute of Astrophysics received by KGTTI Bangalore
center in Industrial Automation & Welding

• Corporate Training at KGTTI for some of the Industries like TVS Motors, Siemens India Ltd, , Yuken India Ltd,. Karnataka Co-operative Milk
Federation, Toyota Tsusho India, Omax India Ltd, Nash Industries, G W Precision Tools India Ltd deputed their staff .
• Free skill training through Kaushalya Karnataka (CMKKY) scheme for all categories of School dropouts, 1oth pass/fail and ITIs trainees.
• Amutha Munnade scheme (BCWD) implemented in all the five centers
• More than 100 MoUs signed by KGTTI Centers with Educational Institutions, Charitable Trust, Industries and NGOs to train their students.
• MoU has been entered between KGMSDC Society and Kimura Foundry, Japan by Principal Secretary, Skill Development
Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department, GoK & Chairman, KGMSDC Society and Kazutoshi Kimura, President, Kimura Foundry Co., Ltd., Japan to Setup
and run a Karnataka-Japan Casting Academy within the premises of KGTTI Bengaluru with JICA funding.
• Two-Wheeler Technician Training Lab was established in association with Industry Partner M/s Hero MotoCorp Ltd. at KGTTI Bengaluru.
• Basic Electrical Lab with State-of-the-Art facility set up in association with M/s Schneider Electric at KGTTI Kalaburagi.
• KGTTI Collaborated with TUV Rhineland, Germany for certifying welding expertise of candidates.
• Associated with Autodesk Inc, USA to offer international certifications at KGTTI Centers. All KGTTIs are now Authorized Autodesk Training
Centers (ATC).
• KGTTI Bengaluru in association with German Car manufacturer M/s Skoda Volkswagen established training labs in
imparting skill training in Auto Body, Auto Paint and Auto technician courses at KGTTI Bengaluru.
• First of its kind Safety Lab was established at KGTTI Bengaluru to impart safety consciousness among trainees and developed a mandatory
curriculum for 2 days to impart safety training to all KGTTI trainees.
• KGTTI Bengaluru has Signed MoU with University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
department for skilling the engineering students and guiding them in their project works and offering Internships at KGTTI.
