Make an interview about the difference of gender and sex and other related topics such as when
they hear the word male, female boys, girls, feminine, masculine and sexuality.
(Ask 3 members of your family from different levels)
For follow up question: Ask them what influenced them to have these thoughts.
After hearing their answer, make a reflective and insightful essay out of it.

1 What do you know or what do you understand when you hear the word gender or sex?

Answer:Based on my understanding, gender is human gender while sex has a double meaning
in my brain, it may also be gender but sex is more dominant in my brain.
2 What do you know or what do you understand when you hear the word gender or sex ?

Answer : My understanding of the word gender is the gender of the person and if sex is the role
or part of our body

3 What do you know or what do you understand when you hear the word gender or sex ?

Answer: Sex is commonly classified as female or male, although there are differences in the
biological characteristics that make up sex and how those characteristics are exhibited. The
socially constructed roles, behaviors, expressions, and identities of girls, women, boys, men, and
gender diverse persons are referred to as gender.

ESSAY

Based on my interview question, what do you know or what do you understand when you hear
the word gender or sex? and based on their understanding that gender and sex are one and the
same, but the one I interviewed could probably have a double meaning of the word sex, but more
on me those who were asked sex is a clarification to a man if it is a woman or men so in their
understanding gender and sex are just the same
