Projection of Plane

Q.1) A pentagonal plate of 45mm side has a circular hole of 40mm diameter in its centre.
The plane stands on one of its sides on the HP the plane being inclined to HP at 45°.
The side on which it stands is inclined at 45° with VP. Draw the projections.

Q.2) A pentagonal plane PQRST of side 40mm is having its corner P in VP and the surface
inclined to VP such that, the front view of side PQ & PT measures 35mm. draw the
projections when the line joining corners Q and T is parallel to VP and 30° inclined to
HP. Find inclination of plane with VP.

Q.3) A Hexagon of side 55 mm is resting on the V.P. on one of the corners. Draw the
projections when its surface is inclined at 45° to the V.P. (8 Marks)

Q.4) A regular Hexagon of side 45 mm is resting on the H.P. on one of its sides. Draw the
projections when its surface is inclined at 35° to the H.P. and the side in H.P. is
inclined at 60° to the V.P.

Q.5) A thin rectangular plate of side 60 x 30 mm has its shorter side in the VP & inclined at
30o to the H.P Draw the projection if its front view is square of 30 mm long side.

Q.6) A rectangular plane of 30mm x 60mm dimensions has its shorter side on H.P. and 300
inclined to V.P. Draw its projection, when the plane is 450 inclined to H.P.

Q.7) A hexagon plane of 35 mm side, has its one edge on H.P. which is 300 inclined to V.P.
Draw the projections of hexagonal plane, when its surface is 450 inclined to H.P.

Q.8) A pentagonal plane ABCDE of 30 mm side has its side AB parallel to V.P. and 500
inclined to H.P. Draw its projection when the surface of plane is 450 inclined to V.P.
