Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Operator 1

Operator
Liquefying natural gas at terminals allows Canada’s vast natural gas resources to be loaded onto ships for transport so that i
be safely exported without pipelines. A liquefied natural gas (LNG) operator looks after all of the pipes, pumps, processing u
and control panels involved in the liquefaction and transportation process to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Moving Canada’s vast natural gas resources to markets around the world means exporting it beyond the endpoints of transm
and distribution pipelines. Liquefying natural gas at terminals allows the gas to be loaded onto ships (and other transport at
for transport to new and expanding markets for this clean-burning, efficient Canadian fuel.

LNG operators have a number of responsibilities including monitoring, operating and maintaining the vast network of pipes
pumps, processing units and control panels in a natural gas liquefaction plant and loading facility.
