Job Title: Business Development Manager

Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager at Virtual Workmate, you'll be an integral part of our


mission to grow and excel in the small business sector. Your role will span multiple
responsibilities, all aimed at client acquisition, nurturing client relationships, and contributing
to the overall success and scalability of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of the small business landscape, recognizing
trends, challenges, and opportunities. Create targeted sales and marketing strategies based
on this intelligence.

- Lead Generation: Develop and implement innovative lead generation strategies across
channels such as email marketing, cold calling, and strategic partnerships.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships through
effective communication and methodical follow-up. Schedule and prepare for discovery calls
to further understand client needs.

- Discovery Calls: Identify client pain points and clearly communicate how our VA services
can serve as solutions. Set transparent expectations and close the deal by securing signed
agreements, along with payment of the setup fee.

- CRM & Reporting: Diligently update records in our CRM system and prepare daily
performance reports in alignment with company KPIs.

- Training & Development: Stay updated on relevant industry trends, technological


advancements, and best practices to remain competitive.

- Customer Education: Act as an advocate for the benefits of virtual assistant services,
teaching potential clients on how to efficiently use VAs in their operations.

- Market Intelligence: Keep a close watch on competitor offerings, pricing models, and
strategies to maintain our competitive edge.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.


- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in business development or sales, preferably in the
outsourcing or tech industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Technologically proficient, with substantial experience using CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Must have a clear and distraction-free workspace, a professional background, high-quality
internet, and a high-quality headset.

COMPENSATION & WORKING HOURS


- Looking for PART-TIME/FULL-TIME position
- Can work on Australian Eastern Standard Time (7am - 4pm PST)
- Can start immediately
- We’re based in Australia, so there will be NO GRAVEYARD SHIFT
