REFLECTION PAPER

FOR THE THREE DAY SCHOOL BASED INSET 2022

Learning is a never-ending journey. We are in continuous cycle of learning new

things. With the three (3) day school-based INSET, we’ve been introduced with the used of
the new features and updates on 365 MS Powerpoint Presentation and making a video lesson
using it. We’ve been refreshened with the topic in “Mental Health in the Workplace for
Teacher”, wherein this topic is a quite helpful in helping us deal with some mental health
issues that may have arose in our workplace and in our lives as well. We’ve been also
acquainted in conducting action research, from crafting action research title, statement of the
problem, data gathering procedure and many more in the field of action research.

Microsoft power point presentation is one of the computer software of Microsoft

Office that is very useful. We used this for the presentations of our lessons in the classroom,
along with other visual aids. Through the school-based INSET, additional features and
updates were introduced to us. The used of morph tool, transition effect, animations, and
many others. And also, the used of recording video lesson using the MS power point 365.

With the topic “Action Research”, as for me it is a complicated task. From identifying
a problem to be studied, collect data on the problem; organize, analyze, and interpret the data
and many other. The main challenges are lack of conceptual knowledge and lack of time and
resources in the conduct of action research.
With all the learnings that I acquired in the three (3) day school-based INSET, I do
agree that learning is never ending journey. I am in a continuous cycle of learning new things.
