INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction.
Since 1990 the Ministry of Health has launced a healthy lifestyle campaign by providing
advice to all levels of community.
More than 30 million Malaysians have-related problem and half of those have more and
more weight loss. The results also show an increase in the age of 18 underweight or
obesity. In other words, our country experienced an increase of 30% obesity among
adolescents.British Medical Research, The Lancet 2013, Malaysia is the most populous
country with overweight obesity in Asia with 44% being male and 49% among women.
Obesity is often associated with a balanced diet and exercise activity. Over the years,
the Atkins diet or carbohydrate diet has contributed to the success of helping the society
to gain an ideal weight. Afterwards, it is followed by a glycemic index based diet which
can help people to get ideal weight. A consistent and disciplined exercise in practicing
daily diets will help us to get a healthy body and a healthy mind. (Dee Dee Mahmood,
2016)
There are 63,000 patients having a visual loss (blind). This is caused Diabetes Mellitus.
Diabetes can cause adverse side effects on the vision system. This disease will cause
increased blood sugar levels and can cause heart attack, stroke, kidney failure and
others. (National Eye Surveillance, 1996).
Nutrition, protein and carbohydrates are required to the body but it can also cause harm
if it is taken too much without our exercise. It will cause increased cholesterol levels in
the body. Beside that, a person who practices late at night eating can be harmful to the
health of the body as the human body will reduce metabolism during the night.
1.1 OBJECTIF

at Kepala Batas in 2017
LITERATURE RIVIEW
The benefits we can get from exercise, physically our bodies will look healthy and fit.
From the psychological view, we will have a healthy, fresh and social mental status we
will have a good relationship with the local community Therefore, we have to put on
exercise as an important thing in us all day. The exercise activity also need to be started
slowly before we do any heavy workouts to prevent self-injury. (Appulf Appukutty
2012).
Exercise activity should also be practiced in our daily activities so that we can benefit
from it. It should be done at least 150 minutes a week starting with a low exercise to a
higher exercise. (Hairul Anuar, 2016).
High carbohydrate foods need to be well controlled so that we can avoid chronic
diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Diabetes patients especially need
to control the high intake of carbohydrate content so that blood sugar levels can be
controlled well. In addition, the fact that people who exercise can take a high amount of
carbohydrate is not true at all. (Nutrition Journal 2014).
