The Problems of World Food Supply

Malnutrition:
It is an imbalance in the
nutrients our body needs to function and the
nutrient gets it. It may be due to an excess or
deficiency intake of nutrients over a period of
time. We can be malnourished from an
overall lack of calories, or you might have a
protein, vitamin or mineral deficiency.

Over-Nutrition:
Over-nutrition occurs
when we take more nutrients than we need.
The excess is then converted to fats which
causes obese. Obese is a very big problem in
very well developed countries. Over
consumption of fats can cause heart diseases.

Starvation:
Starvation occurs when a
human or animal does not take enough
nutrients in their diet. To meet basic
metabolic needs, the body starts using
nutrients stored as fats or glycogen. When
they ends the body starts to use proteins. The
muscles in our body are made up of proteins
so body starts wasting muscles.
