C. Abstraction

Subject-verb agreement means that a subject and


its verb must be both singular or both plural: A
singular subject takes a singular verb. A plural
subject takes a plural verb. In fact, it has 12 rules
that we need to consider however, we only discuss
the 5 rules. In the same group, you need to discuss
the rules of subject verb agreement. Provide two
examples each rules. I will be giving you your
materials and rubrics for the activity including the
instructions. You have 10 minutes to perform the
task.

Sir, the rules of subject verb agreement
Class, what are those rules again in subject verb that we discussed early are rules number
agreement? 1, 2, 3, 8, 9. In which the rule number 1
stated that If the subject is singular, the
verb must be singular too. Rule number
stated that f the subject is plural, the verb
must also be plural.
The third rules stated that Subjects such
as Physics, Mathematics, and economics
take a singular verb even though they end
with s. The eighth rule stated that
Singular indefinite pronouns takes
singular verb, while plural infinite
pronouns take plural verbs. And that last
rule stated that Singular demonstrative
pronouns take singular verbs, while plural

us now test your knowledge about it.

paragraph according to each rules of the subject
verb agreement. Please be guided by the rubric
given below.
