ABOUT MDI

Management Development Institute, Gurgaon was established in 1973 with assistance from the Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI). Situated in the heart of Gurgaon, an industrial town witnessing immense growth, it has a sprawling lush green campus spread over 37 acres with all the modern amenities necessary to impart quality management education in today's dynamic business environment. Management Development Institute popularly known as MDI launched its first National Management Programme in 1988 as a full-time, residential programme sponsored by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The flag ship course of MDI, Post Graduate Programme in Management was started as a full time residential course in 1994. Ranking consistently amongst the top 5 B Schools in India, MDI has become the first B School in India to get all its programs accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), United Kingdom. MDI also boasts a rich community of International Students as part of its exchange program.

Strategist, The Consulting Club of MDI is primarily a student driven organization. It aims to provide consulting services to business enterprises, entrepreneurs and voluntary organizations. To our credibility we have been successful in delivering results since inception. Our objective has been to provide MDI students with live consulting experience and help them experience a variety of challenging situations that will hone their skills. Also this is an attempt to help industry to utilize the diverse talented pool of students to gain fresh perspective of the real time issues. The Strategist Team offers capabilities across domains and expertise from our diverse student community. Our derived knowledge from the case based pedagogy in the field of Marketing, Operations, Finance, Organisation Behaviour, HR etc and past work experience will help in providing cutting edge business solutions which will help solve your business needs.

METHODOLOGY
A systematic approach to facilitate the smooth flow of the project Project Proposal: Strategist members work in co-ordination with the corporate in defining the specifications of the project. Team Selection: The team is selected from the talent pool available in the college, in consultation with the corporate and aimed to match the needs of the project. Project Deliverables: Strategist members will manage the projects end to end. They act as the interface between the project teams and the corporate. Deliverables will include a detailed report and a presentation regarding the findings and analysis of the business problem. Client Feedback: Feedback is solicited on completion of the project in order to gain insight on the execution of the assignment.
