    A Narrative Report on School Based Feeding Program


    SY. 2021-2022

    The Department of Education (DepEd) shall implement the School-Based Feeding


    Program (SBFP) for the school year 2022-2023 to address malnutrition among public school
    children. The program primarily aims to improve the nutritional status of the beneficiaries by at
    least 70% at the end of 120 feeding days. It also aims to increase classroom attendance by 85%
    to 100% and improve the children’s health and nutrition values & behavior.
    In line with this, Cabadbaran South Central Elementary School OKD Team headed by
    Mrs. Emma K. Deiparine conducted a face to face OKD Symposium to the Grades 5 and 6
    learners last August 31, 2022. The symposium was held successfully through the knowledge
    given by the different OKD speakers and active participation of the learners.
