Such placements suggest that the significations are in some way blemished. Just put the
words “TOO MUCH” in front of the descriptions to get a feeling what this means.

Some Examples:
- SUN in 9th House: person is arrogant, authoritarian, autocratic, self-important father
- VENUS in the 7th House: too much ‘sugar’, excessive marital sensuality, person possess a
lot of attractive energy which generates further relationships or the partner may be ‘too
beautiful, too sensual, too materialistic, too concerned with art, luxury, etc.
- JUPITER in the 5th House: “too much expansion”, too many romances, huge literary or
artistic production, massive political activity, few or no children or some type of obstacles with
rearing your children, overly ‘parenting’ your children, etc.

** NOTE: This is also called Jnāti Kārakā (kinship). These rules also apply to the Divisional
Charts (Aṃśā Charts), for example, Venus in the Lagna of the D-9 (Navamsha).
