First and foremost, I am thankful to Allah SWT for providing me strength and
endurance on completing the 24 weeks of internship program and finishing this report while
the coronavirus is still active.

I appreciate and very thankful to everybody who has helped me directly and indirectly
on helping and supported me finishing this report and the internship program.

Thank you to Madam Nur Idayu Binti Ghani as to guide me on what to do during the
internship program and the finishing of the report and logbook.

Next I would like to show gratitude to my supervisor of Urban Ad Sdn Bhd, Mrs
Rafidah Binti Yahya, as she guide and teach me on what the production team have to through
in the term of process and what to do when received a task or an project. And also toward
Creative Director of Urban Ad, Mr Anuar Sujud for teaching me on the side of creative
which is giving feedback, learning to making moodboard, script, video sample and recording
behind the scenes. These experience I will remember and hopeful that it can be used on the
future of my working career.

I would also like to express my gratitude toward the employee of Urban Ad Sdn Bhd
and other intern who helped me during the internship. These people has helped me and share
knowledge from their experience and I have gained knowledge on this journey.

The opportunity that I had with Urban Ad in the internship program taught me so
much on how the production company work and how the professional team work. I am
grateful on this journey and the friendship and moment of happiness that I go through will be
cherish in my memory.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

As a part of my degree studies in Multimedia, I did a 24 week internship from


3 JUNE 2020 – 3 DECEMBER 2020 in urban ad that was established since 2002.
When I got the internship, I was positioned in the creative department and handling in
video editing, shooting behind the scene and designing graphic.

During the working time, I have to go to the office from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.
Sometimes the working time can be difference and can be working late.

In these 6 months, I have learnt a lot of things from the internship program. I
hope that the experience that I received improved my skills and can be used for the
later on.

2.0 COMPANY BACKGROUND

2.1 HISTORY OF COMPANY

2.1.1 COMPANY OVERVIEW

Urban Ad Sdn Bhd is a private limited advertising agency and production


house that are created by two husband and wives which is Rafidah Yahya,
who is the Managing Director of Urban Ad Sdn Bhd, As well as her husband,
in position of company partner and creative director, Anuar Sujud.

Urban Ad often collaborating with Media Prima Group such as TV3, NTV7,
8TV, TV9, Astro and TV Al-Hijrah in panel production house and they also a
Media Representative for Media Prima Group for TV and Radio.

Urban Ad also provide Audio Visual realted services such as Sound


Recording, Production Services, Post Production and Broadcasting Services.

The Managing Director, Rafidah Yahya also have a clothing brand for a
fashion house which is called Jameqha Couture Kuala Lumpur Clothing
Brand.

2.1.2 COMPANY ACHIEVMENT

Throughout years of service that Urban Ad has provided, they have received
many achievement and awards.

3.2 ACHIEVING THE TASK/METHOD USED

I. Adobe Illustrator
I used adobe illustrator when I was given the task to make moodboard
and logo design

II. Adobe After Effect


I used adobe after effect when editing video and insert graphic

III. Adobe Premiere


The adobe premieres are used mainly in editing sample video and
behind the scene.

IV. Blender
Blender will be used to edit video when at home because my computer
cannot run adobe premiere for video editing

V. Whatsapp
Whatsapp is usually used to contact information and giving link for
any files and link.

VI. Google Drive


Upload files for easily view any video file

VII. Wetransfer
Wetransfer are used to easily give many files with link

4.0 CONCLUSION

4.1 Training Analysis

In the 24 weeks I been intern in the Urban Ad, I have received many guidance
and teaching from everybody. There are many things and information that I have
learned from this experience and I am very grateful for this and hope I can use for the
future.

During the internship I have learned the process when in the production. From
the preplanning to the post-production. There are many step and thought that has to be
thinking through for the production to finish.

Cooperating with other is the main thing in working as the production industry
usually works with many people, as there are many departments in the production
from the director to the camera crew, production crew, makeup crew and many more.
We also should give fully commitment

4.2 RECOMMENDATION FOR OTHERS

The Urban Ad is a place where you feel like it is family rather than a
workmate, because the relationship are closed and friendly. You can also receive
many experience from production to product shooting as the urban ad provide many
service. Your creativity will be challenged and improved as they push your skill and
will be improved significantly
