Netiquette(Network Etiquette)
for Online Class
According to Virginia Shea (2011) Netiquette is a set of rules
for behaving properly online.

The etiquette of cyberspace.

( "etiquette" means "the forms required by good breeding or
prescribed by authority to be required in social or official life.")
RULES TO
REMEMBER!!
Rule No. 1 Let’s accept the
“SOUND “ and try to avoid
“NOISE”
SOUND : Environmental factors ( barking of the
dogs, road noises, cock-a-doodle-doo, anything
that we can not control outside our human
boundaries even our neighborhood music or
karaoke)
NOISE: Obstacle that interfere feedback
(disturbing)
RULE No. 2:Remember the
human
·Computer networks bring
people together who'd
otherwise never meet.
Rule No. 3: Adhere to the same
standards of behavior online that you
follow in real life.
Rule No. 4: Respect other people's time
and bandwidth.
Bandwidth is the information-carrying capacity of the wires and
channels that connect everyone in cyberspace.
Rule No. 5: Make yourself look
good online
You won't be judged by the color of your skin, eyes,
or hair, your weight, your age, or your clothing.
Rule No. 6: Respect other people's
privacy
Rule No. 7: Be forgiving of other
people's mistakes
• So when someone makes a mistake -- whether it's a
spelling error or a spelling flame, be kind about it. If it's a
minor error, you may not need to say anything.
Even if you feel strongly about it, think twice before
reacting.
RESPECT! PATIENCE! COURAGE !
GOD BLESS EVERYONE! LET USBEGIN A FRUITFUL
EPISTEMIC SEMESTER AHEAD!!!
