CHAPTER I

Executive summary

This business called sweet tooth is operated by entrepreneurial students of The Great

Plebeian College located at Alaminos City. Sweet tooth is a business that sells fruits that are

coated with sugar or chocolate. It offers variety of fruits to choose from like grapes, oranges,

apples, etc. Sugar coated fruits has crunchy and sweet outside and has a fruity and juicy texture

inside.

Few weeks ago, the entrepreneurs are thinking about a product that is new the local

market and they found out that tanghulu or also known as sugar coated fruits are not yet

introduced in The Great Plebeian College. The entrepreneurs also has a love for fruit tanghulu

because one of the members regularly makes it as their snacks, after some time all of the

entrepreneurs had agreed to introduce it as their business. The entrepreneurs first made a survey

about the product to ensure if the costumers are willing to try it and they found out that the

costumers are willing to try it and might buy again if it satisfied their taste buds.

Sweet tooth was made because there are not yet any businesses like it in The Great

Plebeian College. The Entrepreneurs wants to introduce a new product that will get the interest

of both teachers and students that has love for fruits and sweets. Since a lot of people love fruits

and sweets the entrepreneurs utilized this idea and came up with the sugar coated fruits.

The entrepreneur’s wants to sell the sugar coated fruits for 10-20 peso each stick the price

will vary depending on the fruits coats that are used. Fruits like strawberry is hard to get that’s

why it is certainly the priciest among the options. In terms of coating the entrepreneurs added

another option which is chocolate coating.

The marketing competition in The Great Plebeian College is going to be fierce that’s why

sweet tooth marketing strategy is direct marketing and digital marketing. The entrepreneurs want

to use online and face to face strategies to promote and sell their products. Additionally sweet

tooth wants to maximize the use of digital marketing because with digital marketing it is easier to

sell, promote, and advertise products, more potential customers would also see it resulting in

more sales and profit.
