Statement of the Problem
This study has been conducted by the researchers because of the curiosity about the
number of grade 9 students in Carlos F. Gonzales High School who are being affected by
Factors that Affect the Level of Self-Confidence. The researches want to know how to improve
their self confidence.
At the end of this study, the researchers will come out with the findings of either positive
or negative reasons why they have Self-Confidence. These are the questions needed to be
answered in order to finish this study:
1. What can be suggested to students to improve their self confidence according to?:
1.1 age; and
1.2 gender?
2. What are the effects of having self-confidence in participating social activities within or
outside school premises?
3. What are the benefits of telling parents their problems?
4. What are the effects of being academically conscious on the student?
5. What can be the effect if a student's confidence is not enough to be motivated to do
something?

This chapter provides the presentation of statistiacal data related to the problem posited.
The corresponding analysis and interpretation of data are incorporated in this portion of the
study.

Age of the Respondents

According to table 1. "51.43%" of the respondent has the age of13-14 answered the
questionare, "27.14%" from the age of 15-16, Therefore most of our respondent came from 13-
14 of age and answered our questionnare.

Gender of the Respondents

Based on the table, our female respondents are 32.86%, while our male respondents are
"45.71%", Therefore majority of our respondents are male because it has "45.71%".

Levels of self-confidence of the selected "Grade 9 students"

As you can see in the table, it is the levels of self-confidence of selected Grade 9 students, most
of the respondent answer is 3 it has 25.71% majority of our respondent is in the mid level of
self-confidence. We use the levels of self-confidence to determine the Factors that affect the
self-confidence of selected Grade 9 students and also to determine if they are confident enough
to socialized with other people.
