I am writing to apply for the post of counselor from an advertisement on the Internet.
I am a second year student at TPU and obtaining a bachelor's degree. My level of English is
very good as I attended courses and I have friends, who are originally from the UK and who
taught me English.
I have relevant experience working with children: as I have 2 younger brothers, and at the
university I work as a curator helping to adapt applicants. I went to dance and organization
courses. As such, I can organize a number of activities for children, such as dance
performances, film scenes and competitions. If a child finds it difficult at camp, I am ready to
provide psychological assistance and support for him. However, if the children start arguing,
I can prevent the conflict and find a compromise. The most important thing about my
professional skills is that I can interest children in activities.
I am a kind and sympathetic person. I also have the following qualities: empathy, resistance
to stress, intelligence (this means that I can find a way out of any situation), leadership and
good physical fitness. I am very enthusiastic about working with children, because children
are the flowers of life and I will be glad to become part of a big family. Friends describe me
as a born leader, I know how to put people at ease, I also have well-developed soft-skills. I
am an optimist in life, I always look for only the good, so I think that I am best suited for the
position of a counselor.
