PROCESSION.

PRAISE TO THE LORD THE ALMIGHTY (CHB 28).

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!

O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation!
Come, all who hear; now to his temple draw near,
join me in glad adoration.

Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning;

sheltering you under his wings, and so gently sustaining!
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
sent by his gracious ordaining?

Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;
surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
if with his love he befriends you.

Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!

All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him.
Let the Amen sound from his people again;
gladly forever adore him.

HIGHER GROUND.

I’m pressing on the upward way,

New heights I’m gaining ev'ry day;
Still praying as I’m onward bound,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground

Lord, lift me up, and let me stand

By faith, on heaven’s tableland;
A higher plane than I have found,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground

My heart has no desire to stay

Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where these abound,
My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.

I want to live above the world,

Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught a joyful sound,
The song of saints on higher ground.
I want to scale the utmost height,
And catch a gleam of glory bright;
But still I’ll pray till heav’n I’ve found,
“Lord, lead me on to higher ground.”
ENTRANCE.

ALL THE EARTH.

All the earth proclaim the Lord;

sing your praise to God.

Serve you the Lord, heart filled with gladness.

Come into God's presence singing for joy!

Know that the Lord is our creator.

Yes God is our Father; we are his own.

We are the sheep of the green pasture;

For we are God's people; chosen by God.

Come to the gates bringing thanksgiving;

O enter the courtyards singing in praise

Our Lord is good, with love enduring;

God's word is abiding now with us all.

Honour and praise be to the Father,

The Son, and the Spirit, world without end

COMMUNION

I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR.

I need Thee every hour

Most gracious Lord
No tender voice like Thine
Can peace afford

I need Thee, O I need Thee

Every hour I need Thee
O bless me now, my Savior
I come to Thee

I need Thee every hour

Stay Thou nearby
Temptations lose their power
When Thou art nigh
I need Thee every hour
In joy or pain
Come quickly and abide
Or life is vain

I need Thee ev'ry hour,

Teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises
In me fulfill.
FILL MY HOUSE.

Fill my house unto the fullest.

Eat my bread and
drink my wine.
The love I bear is held from no one.

All I have and all I do I give to you.

Take my time unto the fullest.

Find in me the trust you seek,
and take my hands to you outreaching.

Christ our Lord with love enormous from the cross

his lesson taught to love all men as I have loved you.

Join with me as one in Christ-love.

May our hearts all beat as one, and may
we give ourselves completely.

BLESSED ASSURANCE.

1 Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!

Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.

This is my story, this is my song,

praising my Savior all the day long.
This is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.

2 Perfect communion, perfect delight,

visions of rapture now burst on my sight.
Angels descending bring from above
echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

3 Perfect submission, all is at rest.

I in my Savior am happy and bless’d,
watching and waiting, looking above,
filled with his goodness, lost in his love.
