SCRIPT FOR TEACHERS DAY

INTRO:

Andy Hargraves once said, “Teaching is a very emotional practice. It creates, it colors, it changes our
lives.” Certainly, there can be no better profession that educates, informs, inspires, encourages and
at the same time teaches us to inculcate a way of life and most importantly prepares us for a world
that is not easy to handle. As an old adage says “. Teaching is the noblest profession of all”

The celebration of WORLD teacher’s day has been held annually since October 5, 1994. It’s been 23
years of recognizing the importance of educators in the future of every generation and to show
appreciation and highlight the many contributions of the teaching profession. As we all know,
teaching is all about changing and transforming the lives of children and young people and their
families. This year we are celebrating under the theme “TOGETHER FOR TEACHERS”

NATIONAL ANTHEM

To start with, requesting everyone to please stand for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem
to be led by BBH Drum and Lyre Corps to be followed by doxology of BBH Dance Troupe.

WELCOME REMARKS

A leader has the vision and conviction that a dream can be achieved. He inspires the power and
energy to get it done. This is how we describe our school principal, so to give us his heartfelt
welcome remarks, let's put our hands together for Sir Francisco M. Policarpio.

INTERMISSION NUMBERS

Someone once said, "a teacher's purpose is not to create students in his own image, but to develop
students who can create their own images." To pay tribute to the teachers, let us welcome the
different clubs of our school for their intermission numbers.

-ADLIB-

I believed that everybody was completely blown by the different performances given to us by our
students and of course by the very special performance of Sir Mark Parcon. Once again, let’s give
them a huge round of applause.

SEARCH FOR MS. KILABOT AND MR. BEBOT

Down by one of the main events of this special day, we will now proceed to the first ever Search for
Ms. Kilabot and Mr. Bebot. Yes, you heard it right. Today, we will witness a mind-blowing
transformation of our selected teachers in every department; wherein our madams will turn into
sirs and our sirs will turn into madams.

Before we go on to this exciting part, it is my honor to present to you the panel of judges.

For the scoring to be clear to our participants, let me read the criteria for judging.

So, teachers, are you ready? How about our participants, are they also ready?

For this Search for Ms. Kilabot and Mr. Bebot, we have 6 participants for Ms. Bebot and 9
participants for Mr. Kilabot. So, without further ado, let’s welcome candidate no. 1.
AWARDING OF CERTIFICATES FOR LOYALTY AWARDEES

To make this day extra special, a part of our celebration is the recognition to honor our loyalty
teacher-awardees who put forth exceptional work this past year. Their contributions to our school
have allowed us to take a step further towards our dream of being an excellent facilitator of quality
education. It is only right and proper to take time to recognize excellence and celebrate our
colleagues’ accomplishments which are the result of individual and collective efforts.

AWARDING OF WINNERS

At this juncture, we will now announce the winners for the Search of Ms. Bebot nd Mr. Kilabot 2023.

CLOSING REMARKS

Now, please help me welcome Sir Urcesio Sepe, our head teacher for his closing remarks. A round of
applause please.

May I now end this program with a quote that goes, “Better than a thousand days of diligent study is
one day with a great teacher.”

HAPPY WORLD’S TEACHERS DAY!
