WEEK – 1 (From Dt: 03-07-2023 to Dt: 15-07-2023 )
The subsequent days were dedicated to on-site awareness campaigns. Entering households,
our team engaged in impactful talks, enlightening residents about the severity of water
pollution and its direct impact on their lives. Notes were diligently made, capturing the
specific problems faced by each household and identifying victims within the locality. Day
four witnessed an extension of our awareness campaign, as we visited three additional
houses, intensifying our efforts to comprehend the scope of the issue. Detailed notes were
prepared, outlining the unique challenges faced by each household.
Transitioning from households to the streets on day five, we engaged with people at a specific
location, conducting talks to raise awareness about water pollution. In this open setting, we
actively listened to individuals and documented instances of illnesses or problems directly
attributed to the pollution in the area. On the final day, our focus shifted to future-oriented
awareness. Addressing a general public gathering, we explained the potential challenges we
might face if the current pollution levels persist. A comprehensive future-based awareness
program was introduced, aiming to educate the community about the importance of
sustainable practices to prevent long-term environmental consequences. This six-day

CHAPTER 4: OUTCOMES DESCRIPTION
Details of the Socio-Economic Survey of the Village Attach thequestionnaire prepared for the survey.
SOCIO-ECONOMIC SURVEY:
The socio-economic survey conducted in the village to assess water pollution encompassed a holistic
approach, analyzing various vital aspects. The demographic study provided insights into the population's
composition, education, occupations, and household structures. It also highlighted the prevalent water
sources and their usage for daily activities. Water quality assessments involving pH levels, presence of
contaminants, and microbial content were undertaken across these sources. Health data was collected to
understand prevalent waterborne diseases and potential health impacts. Additionally, the survey delved
into the economic ramifications, examining how water pollution affected agricultural practices and
livelihoods. Furthermore, it gauged the community's awareness, attitudes, and knowledge regarding water
pollution and potential remedial actions. This comprehensive approach aimed to uncover the multifaceted
influences of water pollution on the village's socio-economic dynamics, offering a foundation for targeted

Report of the mini-project work done in the related subject w.r.t the
habitation/village.
Our mini project focused on evaluating water pollution in Amalapuram, addressing the alarming
concerns surrounding water quality in the region. Utilizing water samples from various sources
like rivers, lakes, and groundwater, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of key parameters
such as pH levels, chemical composition, and microbial contamination. The results revealed
significant pollution levels, particularly in industrial areas and urban centers. Our findings
underscore the urgent need for sustainable water management practices and regulatory measures
to mitigate pollution and ensure the health and well-being of the local community in Amalapuram.
This is about the mini project work that was done in Gandhinagar in
Amalapuram village.
For this we choose a village and conduct the survey by interacting with each
and individual person and conduct awareness campaign with in the village.
When water gets polluted, it adversely affects all lifeforms that directly or indirectly
depend on this source. The effects of water contamination can be felt for years to
come.
19
Sources Of Water Pollution
Urbanization.
Deforestation.
Industrial effluents.
Social and Religious Practices.
Use of Detergents and Fertilizers.
Agricultural run-offs- Use of insecticides and pesticides.
A very special plant, the Water Hyacinth can absorb dissolved toxic chemicals such
as cadmium and other such elements. Establishing these in regions prone to such
kinds of pollutants will reduce the adverse effects to a large extent.
Some chemical methods that help in the control of water pollution are precipitation,
the ion exchange process, reverse osmosis, and coagulation. As an
individual, reusing, reducing, and recycling wherever possible will advance a long
way in overcoming the effects of water pollution.

Every Human being want to be a great person or to live happily with his family but, if they want
be a great person or to live happily there is a thing which is important in human life without it a
Human can’t live happily and peacefully, which is Health. Every Human wants good health and
they will do exercises, yoga and follows diets but those are not perfectly helpful to be healthy.
The human Health depends on the Environment they live. If we want to live healthy we have to
live in Healthy environment. The environment won’t be healthy if the water, air, sound is
polluted. If the contamination of the water is polluted will causes diseases and contamination of
polluted air will causes diseases. The Water and air becoming polluted now a days. People
polluting the water by direct dumping of wastage or garbage into water Systems. Our project
members conducted awareness camp and said about water pollution. We told them some steps to
prevent water pollution. Which impacts some change on water pollution on their community.
Now We are going to conclude that Every citizen has responsibility to keep their environment
healthy and to participate actively in government activities like Swatch Baharat, Clean
India… etc.
