Remarks:
At this point of the project, Jacobs was intensely working on foundations and building.
Some of the activities to finalize the filters assembly are delicate and depend on having the area to
be cleared, and commission should be close, so it was agreed (WesTech and Jacobs) to stop the
assembly at this point, and WesTech would mobilize a second time when the building is available,
and commissioning would be close.
The pending items listed on the next pages, are the issues listed by Jacobs and WesTech, and the
some are solved, some are Jacobs responsibility, and some will be resolved on the next WesTech’s
mobilization.
At this point, WesTech considers the assembly is at 90% and will invoice that amount.
Punch list for Laayoune Wash Plant project:
Description
The pumps, motors and reducers need to be
protected by cover in yard.
Platform erection: Who will oversee erecting the Jacobs/OCP
platform and walkway?
All 4 filters should be covered completely
Paint issue
All four filters need touch up the damage paint
ASAP. Westech should submit the paint repair
procedure and schedule to Jacobs ASAP.
Service report, HBF installation report should
be submitted to Jacobs review.
All bearing holes should be plugged, protect
form dust.
Motors and reducers installation report
All reducer inside should have preservation gas.
Air line and water line should different color
tube.
Motors paint cracked
Fix 3 damaged parts
Nameplates in Chinese and/or rusting
Deliver and install missing bolts for C-channel of
wear belt support of HBF J1,
Deliver and install missing 11 bolts (M16*90) of
vacuum hose of HBF K2.
